JOB ANNOUNCEMENT for Orange County Location

Reneu Health, Inc. (www.reneu-health.com), a team of Clinical Kinesiologists that provides in-home therapeutic exercise programs to combat the effects of inactivity, is now accepting applications for the position of Clinical Kinesiologist Assistant.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Graduating senior or recent graduate with bachelor’s degree in exercise science, physiology, or health related field. Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and basic exercise science required or experience equivalent to a four year degree

Preferred Experience: One year experience in an activity-based training and/or adaptive exercise setting.

Licensure: None required. Must obtain basic CPR certification within 30 days of hire date.

Skills: Clinical skills include the physical capacity to provide activity-based training and adaptive exercise. Effective time management. Effective oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.

Transportation: Applicants must have their own transportation to travel to clients’ homes.

JOB SUMMARY AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The Clinical Kinesiologist Assistant (CKA) provides a direct supportive role in the delivery of services. The CKA must be able to:

Prepare the client for training as directed.Provide activity-based training and adaptive exercise. Develop and implement progression plans for clients with varying physical and cognitive abilities.Maintain the clients’ computerized and paper files/records.Prepare and clean the training area.Understand potential health issues and medical conditions for all RH clients. Know how to operate all exercise equipment and know the absolute and relative contraindications for each piece.Serve as point of contact for RH clients.Serve as point of contact for new client inquiries. Keep apprised of all assigned clients’ health and personal statuses to ensure high-level customer service. Understand and properly administer all RH procedures to ensure standardization.Function as a professional public representative of RH.

Hours vary. 10-15 hours/ week. Hourly pay $15-30/hour. Potential for growth.
